LONDON- On Sunday, Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson and France’s President Emmanuel Macron reiterated their commitment to Iran’s nuclear deal agreeing to the requirement of a long-term framework.
The two leaders reiterated their commitment to JCPoA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) while acknowledging the need to define long-term framework to prevent Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons.
The two leaders met on the sidelines of a summit in Berlin.
Johnson and Macron agreed on the need and importance of de-escalation. They need to work with international partners for landing on a diplomatic way through the tensions that exist.
