On Friday, Facebook cancelled its global marketing summit to happen next month in San Francisco due to risks of coronavirus.
A spokesman said that to be more cautious regarding the public health risks of the coronavirus, Facebook has decided to cancel the global marketing summit.
The event was planned to be held at the Moscone Centre from March 9th to 12th and over 4,000 participants were expected to be in attendance.
The coronavirus originated in Wuhan and has killed more than 1,300 people so far and infected over 63,800 people on the Chinese mainland.
