SAN FRANCISCO – After a historic slump due to concerns regarding user privacy, Facebook shares have finally reached an intra-day record high for the first time in a period of a year.
The shares rose to touch $219.88 by mid-day, a 0.72% increase, its highest level yet. By the end of the day, the shares gave up to finish down 0.11%. On Thursday, the shares reached a record closing high, topping the previous record from July 25th, 2018.
Facebook has been struggling to fix its reputation over the past year.
