Pop sensation Britney Spears’ husband, Sam Asghari, has officially filed for divorce after a mere 14 months of marriage. A close source, who is familiar with Asghari’s circle but not authorized to speak publicly, confirmed the divorce filing on Wednesday. Shortly after multiple outlets, including TMZ and People magazine, reported that Britney Spears and her husband headed for divorce.
Despite attempts to reach out to Spears’ representative, there has been no immediate response. Court records in both Los Angeles and Ventura counties have yet to reveal where the divorce case has been lodged.
The couple’s union took place at Spears’ residence in Thousand Oaks, California, on June 9, 2022. The ceremony was graced by prominent guests, including Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, and Madonna. The wedding held a special significance as it marked a pivotal moment in Spears’ life.
