On Tuesday, Cristiano Ronaldo achieved a significant milestone in football history by becoming the highest goal scorer with headers. He achieved this feat while playing for Al Nassr against US Monastir in a King Salman Club Cup game at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In the 74th minute, Ronaldo scored his 145th headed goal, surpassing Gerd Muller’s record of 144 headed goals.
This remarkable achievement marked Ronaldo’s 839th career goal and his 22nd consecutive season of finding the net. The 38-year-old football legend continues to make his mark in the sport.Ronaldo had failed to find the net in the pre-season friendlies so far this season and was looking for a breakthrough, which arrived in this Arab Club Champions Cup game.
