SEOUL – South Korean boy band BTS cancelled their upcoming concert scheduled in April in Seoul in response to growing coronavirus concerns, according to their music label, Big Hit Entertainment.

The “Map of the Soul Tour” was scheduled to begin with the first shows in the Seoul Olympic Stadium on the 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th of April.
The seven-member boyband intended on visiting 17 cities by September. The list of cities includes Los Angeles, Washington DC, London and Tokyo.
The label ensured that the reserved tickets would get a full refund.
This cancellation comes after the IPO was handed over to JPMorgan Chase & Co, NH Investment & Securities Co and others by Big Hit.
Management agencies earn a lump sum of their revenue via concerts and merchandise sold there.
As of Frida, 256 new coronavirus cases have been reported in South Korea reaching 2,022 infected and 13 dead.
