LONDON (UK) – Marcus Rashford of Manchester United will have to undergo a scan on his knee after experiencing pain during the fourth-round win against Liverpool on Sunday, said manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He was instrumental in setting up Mason Greenwood’s equaliser in the 26th minute before scoring his 15th goal of the season shortly after halftime, placing United ahead 2-1. Rashford was replaced by Anthony Martial minutes before the game got over.
“His knee was bothering him,” Solskjaer told media persons. “He’ll have a scan and we’ll see where we are.”
It was Bruno Fernandes’ pinpoint free kick in the 78th minute which earned them a last-16 tie against West Ham United.
