Joe Redmond , a distinguished Irish financial services entrepreneur, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer for Paytrix Ireland, a pioneering fintech company that streamlines global payments for high-growth businesses.
Bringing a remarkable industry track record and extensive experience in payments, foreign exchange, governance, risk, and compliance, Joe will oversee Paytrix Ireland’s strategy for obtaining licenses and expanding regionally.
The firm simplifies access to premier payment services across collections, settlements, and payouts with one contract and one API. For rapidly expanding businesses with global ambitions, Paytrix’s curation layer eliminates much of the intricacy, expense, and friction tied to international payments, facilitating seamless scalability.
Joe joins Paytrix Ireland at a moment of substantial momentum following its successful Series-A fundraising round in March, securing EUR 16.7 million of investment.
With a three-decade career in foreign exchange and payments, Joe established, grew, and adeptly managed highly profitable ventures, as well as securing leading positions for two of Ireland’s prominent financial services firms, Bank of Ireland Group and FEXCO. He assumed executive, chair, and board director roles at both organizations.
