Ukraine‘s air force has accused Russia of launching missiles from the Black Sea. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, in a Telegram post, stated that out of the ten Kalibr cruise missiles launched, seven were successfully intercepted. However, one missile deviated from its intended course and struck Lviv.
Although Lviv is located in western Ukraine, far from the front lines in the south and east. It has previously experienced attacks from Russia. Just last month, officials reported a drone attack on critical infrastructure in the city.
As the investigation into the rocket strike in Lviv continues, Ukraine is determined to address the situation and hold those responsible accountable for this assault on its civilian population.
