DUBAI – Bollywood acting royalty Aishwarya Rai, fresh from her appearance at Paris Fashion Week, and Aja Naomi King from US court drama How to Get Away with Murder, are among a roster of high-level attendees at an upcoming outdoor panel discussion on combatting various types of harassment faced by women and marginalised persons around the world.
Open to any Expo 2020 visitor, L’Oréal’s Stand Up training will take place at Expo 2020’s Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre at 1900 GST on Tuesday 5 October – the result of a partnership between the French beauty giant and ‘Hollaback!’, a global NGO whose mission is to end harassment in all its forms by transforming cultures that perpetuate hate and harassment.
Arab star Mona Zaki and Saudi Arabia’s Aseel Omran will also appear, alongside executives from L’Oréal, the Official Beauty Products and Services Partner for Expo 2020, including Blanca Juti, Chief Corporate Affairs and Engagement Officer, L’Oreal Group.
The event is expected to attract thousands of attendees. With this in mind, guests are encouraged to arrive early.
A live stream of the evening’s proceedings will also be available for those wishing to join remotely.
