Kidnappers release Nigerian schoolgirls, tweets governor

GUSAU(NIGERIA) – The governor of the northwest Nigerian state of Zamfara on Tuesday, tweeted that the schoolgirls kidnapped from a boarding school have been released. An armed gang had abducted 317 girls from the Government Girls Science Secondary School in the town of Jangebe at around 1 a.m. on Friday.
