MOSCOW (RUSSIA) – The European Court of Human Rights’ call to free jailed critic Alexei Navalny amounted to meddling in the internal affairs of Russia, said Moscow on Thursday, adding that the Kremlin viewed such behaviour as unacceptable.
The court based in Strasbourg, Austria, ruled on Wednesday that Russia should immediately release Navalny, whose detention sparked anti-Kremlin protests in cities across the nation.
