LONDON (UK) – Transport Minister Grant Shapps said he could not say whether Britons would be able to take holidays at home or overseas this year as it depends on how the coronavirus, especially the new strain, responds to vaccines.
He told Sky News on Wednesday “I’m afraid I can’t give you a definitive will there or will there not be the opportunity to take holidays this next year either at home or abroad.”
The minister said the number of arrivals in the country was between 16,000 to 20,000 people each day and they include hauliers, bringing goods into or out of the country.
