WASHINGTON (US) – US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said the US reaffirms its commitment to the security of Israel and will work closely with it to bring about peace in the region.
In a call with Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi, he hailed the recent progress made with the “Abraham Accords” and affirmed US interest in building further on it, said the State Department in a statement.
“Foreign Minister Ashkenazi and Secretary Blinken acknowledged the steadfast partnership between the United States and Israel, and that the two countries would work closely together on challenges ahead,” it said.
