LONDON (UK) – The Times reported on Thursday that European governments would be permitted to prohibit the entry of all Britons and cut all passenger transport links with Britain as per a German proposal to the EU.
The report mentioned that EU member states are free to impose temporary curbs on entry and on transport of passengers from non-EU nations with virus variant areas.
If Britain is willing to shelve its plan to create a “Singapore on the Thames”, the EU will ease post-Brexit border friction, said the Times citing diplomatic sources.
