LOS ANGELES (US) – Three of the four stars who appeared in the popular series “Sex and the City” will come together for a new show featuring the same characters who are now two decades older, said HBO on Sunday.
The new series spans ten episodes and each episode runs into half an hour. It will be shown on HBO Max and will feature Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, who shot into fame in the 1990s and early part of the millennium for their roles in the series.
Titled “And Just Like That”, the production of the series got underway in late spring, said HBO.
“I grew up with these characters, and I can’t wait to see how their story has evolved in this new chapter, with the honesty, poignancy, humor and the beloved city that has always defined them,” Sarah Aubrey, head of original content at HBO Max, said.
However, HBO did not mention why Kim Cattrall, who essayed the role of Samantha Jones, was not included in the new series.
