KABUL (AFGHANISTAN) – Afghan government sources said on Tuesday the death toll from the attack by gunmen on Kabul University on Monday has gone up to 35 and most of the casualties are students.
The sources said around 50 people had been wounded in the attack, which was claimed by Islamic State.
Gunmen stormed Kabul University, shooting at students in their classroom and clashing with security forces for hours on Monday.
