LONDON (UK) – The government said on Friday that further restrictions will be imposed to tackle the surge in the number of coronavirus cases in large parts of central and northern England. The curbs include preventing multiple households from mingling and hospitality, preventing multiple households from mixing and hospitality outlets remaining open late in the night.
The new curbs will come into force on Tuesday. People in the north west of England will be asked to use public transport only if it is absolutely necessary.
