MOSCOW (RUSSIA) – Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will visit Belarus for talks on Thursday. This has come after Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko has been witnessing the biggest political crisis in his 26 years in power.
Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei, who was in Moscow for talks on Wednesday, told that the stand of close ally Russia with regard to the political crisis in Belarus has helped prevent interference of outside forces in the country.
Makei said he thought the situation was gradually becoming stable.
