California store gets furry visitor in search of ‘bear’ necessities

CALIFORNIA (US) – Last week, a store in North California had a furry visitor who came in for some ‘bear’ necessities.

Customers at the Kings Beach Safeway by Lake Tahoe were taken by surprise when they found a bear prowling near the produce aisle of the store. The video of the furry visitor soon went viral on social media.

“We were just calmly arriving at the store. I didn’t even imagine what we were going to find,” said Rubi Nevarez, a customer. “As far as I know, this is the second time this has happened.”

According to local media, the same store was visited by a bear on Aug. 18 and made an exit with a bag of tortilla chips.

Though nobody knows what the animal was looking for, it left without much ado in the end.

“The bear went out by itself after seeing all the commotion he caused,” said Nevarez.
