TOKYO (JAPAN) – Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe came back to his office on Wednesday, as he told reporters that he was ready to resume work. He was undergoing a medical check-up at a Tokyo hospital two days ago.
Abe told reporters, “I underwent a medical examination to make sure my health was in good shape, and now I’m ready to get back to work and do my best.”
The hospital visit happened even as concerns arose from some lawmakers that Abe, who is Japan’s longest-serving prime minister, may be suffering from fatigue.
