MINSK (BELARUS) – Police in Belarus detained more than 1,000 protesters on the third consecutive night of protests on Tuesday. The protests broke out over an allegedly rigged poll that handed incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko another term.
According to authorities, as many as 51 protesters and 14 police officers were injured during the protests.
