LONDON (UK) – American actress Amber Heard dismissed in court on Tuesday of having an affair with Tesla chief Elon Musk, or anyone else, during her married life with Johnny Depp.
Heard, 34, is appearing for giving evidence at London’s High Court on behalf of the Sun newspaper whose publisher, News Group Newspapers. Her former husband Depp has sued the latter for libel over a 2018 article which tagged him a “wife beater”.
In her witness statement, Heard added that accusations from Depp had come her way for having affairs with numerous co-stars, which had lead to violent outbursts from the actor.
It was presented at the court that text messages were exchanged with Musk in May 2016 following which she says Depp had resorted to violent means and injured her eye and cheek. A phone was thrown at her, and their penthouse was also damaged.
Heard said: “No, not that that matters much”. She said she had not been in contact with the Tesla chief until 2016.
The judge, Andrew Nicol, however, told Depp’s lawyer Eleanor Laws that no such evidence was found about jealousy to come to a final conclusion.
