PARIS (FRANCE) – An agreement between AstraZeneca and France over future COVID-19 vaccines predicts doses being split between countries on a pro-rata basis based on population, a French President’s office source said on Monday.
The British drugmaker inked a deal with the European governments in the weekend to supply the region with up to 400 million doses of its potential vaccine. The source said that France hopes to strike similar deals with other pharmaceuticals companies soon.
