(Technology) – The British National Health Service’s (NHS) track and trace smartphone app will launch by July.
The app is meant to help keep the coronavirus outbreak under control and will be out in time for the next lifting of lockdown restrictions.
In late May, Britain revealed that it was dealing with the app’s technical issues.
No final decision regarding the launch date has been made yet but a nation-wide roll-out was expected over the next 15 days.
