STOCKHOLM (Sports) – Conor McGregor, a former two-weight UFC champion, has for the third time announced his retirement from the sport via Twitter.
“Hey guys I’ve decided to retire from fighting. Thank you all for the amazing memories! What a ride it’s been!”

The Irishman wrote the post with a picture of him and his mother along with a promise to buy her a dream home.
The 31-year-old first retired in April 2016. He again announced his retirement in March 2019, but on both occasions the retirements were short-lived.
