LONDON (UK) – Britain will probably run a budget deficit of 5% of national income in 2024.
2024 is when Britain’s next election is due. This comes as the economic impact of coronavirus continues to affect public finances.
The Financial Times said it based its deficit calculation on economic growth forecasts as predicted by economists.
