The French ‘ISF’ wealth tax reimposition would be bad idea, says Le Maire

PARIS (Europe) – France’s Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire believes that reimposing a tax on the wealthiest citizens of France to support the economy damaged by the coronavirus pandemic is not a good idea.

Aspects of the ISF wealth tax have been eased by France’s President Emmanuel Macron to encourage wealthy French citizens to remain in France.
