Shell intends to deepen its carbon reduction plans

LONDON (Business) – Royal Dutch Shell announced plans of its ambitions to deepen greenhouse gas emissions reduction, including emissions offset from oil and gas production by 2050.

Shell expanded its broader aim to cut its carbon emission footprint from the sale of energy products by around 65% by 2050, and by around 30% by 2035.

Before, Shell had aimed to reduce its net carbon footprint in half by 2050 and 20% by 2035.
