LONDON (UK) – Prince Harry and Meghan left Canada to move to Los Angeles to set up their permanent home. The couple has been in Canada since their announcement of taking a step back from their royal duties.
The couple flew to Los Angeles in a private flight, according to reports.
Last week, U.S. and Canada closed their border to non-essential travel to ease the health system strain that the coronavirus brought.
Prince Harry’s spokeswoman declined to comment on the report.
Harry and Meghan wrap up their royal duties by March-end to carve out “a progressive new role,” in North America while financing themselves.
“This move was planned for some time. They realized Canada would not work out for various reasons and they want to be based in the Los Angeles area.”

Meghan was raised in Los Angeles where her mother Doria still lives.
According to People magazine, an unidentified source reported that the couple moved into a home in LA and had not ventured out yet. A state-wide stay at home order has been imposed in California to curb the coronavirus spread.
