PARIS – Telecoms operator Orange CEO Stephane Richard called to delay Disney+ in France to prevent the overload of networks as the country prepares for a lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Richard requested for a delay of a few weeks in the Disney streaming service. It was set to launch on the 24th of March in France.
On Friday, YouTube will be sacrificing streaming quality in the EU to avert internet gridlock as Europeans are switching to work from home due to the coronavirus outbreak.
