On Monday, Chairman of Virgin Atlantic Peter Norris shall be writing to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson saying that UK’s airline industry needs emergency support from the government worth 7.5 billion pounds or risks losing tens of thousands of jobs.
The letter will request the British government to provide airlines with a credit facility to aid them through a prolonged period of slumping revenue caused due to the coronavirus pandemic.
