BERLIN – On Monday, Germany’s Finance Minister Olaf Scholz said that it is inconceivable if the coronavirus is going to pose a longer-term economic challenge.
This announcement came not long after German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s cabinet agreed on measures to counter the coronavirus impact.
Scholz said that the government would always ensure enough liquidity in the economy.
