SambaNova raises $250 million in BlackRock-led funding

Artificial Intelligence computing company SambaNova Systems announced that it had raised $250 million in a BlackRock led funding round to expand its customer base, a clear reflection of the market appetite from the investors’ part.

The Series C funding round included investors like Intel Corp, Alphabet Inc, Walden International, WRVI Capital and Redline Capital.

SambaNova, launched in 2017, is a Palo Alto, California-based firm which is in the process of building an advanced systems platform for Artificial Intelligence and data-intensive applications.
