U.S.’s Mike Pompeo to visit Oman and meet new sultan

WASHINGTON – On Friday, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo shall visit Oman.

On his visit, Pompeo shall be meeting with Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq al-Said, according to a statement released by the U.S. State Department.

Pompeo has been travelling overseas for a while now and has stopped over in Saudi Arabia.

He shall be visiting Oman and paying respects to Sultan Qaboos bin Said’s family. Sultan Qaboos passed away last month.
