LONDON – Princess Beatrice, Prince Andrew and Duchess of York Sarah’s elder daughter, is set to marry fiance Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29th at London’s St James’ Palace.
The wedding ceremony is to be a slightly more private affair than her younger sister Eugenie’s wedding. In 2018, Eugenie married in royal pomp and pageantry wine merchant Jack Brooksbank at Windsor Castle.
Since the previous wedding, their father Prince Andrew has been caught up in a sex scandal and his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
The Queen has granted permission for the ceremony to be held at The Chapel Royal, St James’ Palace, said the Buckingham Palace. A private reception will be held after the ceremony in the Buckingham Palace gardens.
31-year-old Beatrice is the Queen’s granddaughter and ninth in line for the throne. She got engaged to 37-year-old property developer Mozzi in Italy last September.
Princess Beatrice does not carry out official royal engagements and works for Afiniti, dividing her time between New York and London.
