LONDON – Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson reexpressed his support towards a Middle East plan and a two-state solution on a call with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In January, U.S. President Donald Trump suggested the creation of a state of Palestine with an East Jerusalem capital in an effort to make Palestine a self-governing unit.
Trump’s intention was to attempt to achieve a peace breakthrough in the highly-troubled region.
The proposed plan has been rejected by Palestinian leaders.
