On Friday, Boeing disclosed that an investigation was happening over the 737 Max incidents by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Boeing stated that it was cooperating with regulators and stated that any adverse results may impact its financial position.
Since March, Boeing has been grappling with the repercussions of grounding the Boeing 737 Max.
The crashes in October 2018 in Indonesia and March 2019 in Ethiopia revealed that an automated system wrongly pointed the noses of the planes down after take-off.
This week, Boeing reported that the annual loss doubled to $19 billion and is expecting another $4 billion in 2020 in charges.
