LONDON – On Monday, U.S. Prosecutors dropped the case against British retailer Philip Green regarding alleged assault, with court documents as citation by his Arcadia company.
Last May, 67-year old Green was charged with four misdemeanour assault counts in the U.S. after being accused of inappropriately touching an Arizona pilates instructor.
The billionaire owns Topshop and is the chairman of Arcadia. He was accused of spanking the pilates instructor and grabbing her buttocks in Canyon Ranch Resort, Tucson, Arizona in 2016 and 2018.
Green, at the time, denied allegations and the case has been dropped.
On the prosecution’s request, the assault cases against Philip Green were dismissed by Judge Vince Robers on 17th January 2020.
