Bournemouth stated that goalkeeper Asmir Begovic joined AC Milan on loan till the season end to replace Pepe Reina who was shifted to Aston Villa.
Last season, Begovic made 24 league starts but lost his place to Aaron Ramsdale. Hence, on the first half of the current campaign, the 32-year-old Bosnian was on loan at Qarabag.
In Italy, media states that Begovic may make his Milan debut on Wednesday’s Coppa Italia last 16 clash with SPAL. This is a possible scenario as Gianluigi Donnarumma is out with a muscle issue.
On Monday, 37-year-old Reina had joined Aston Villa on loan to cover Tom Heaton who was ruled out with a knee issue.
