LONDON – On Sunday, Ireland’s foreign minister Simon Coveney said that the European Union and Britain’s negotiations regarding their post-Brexit relationship would not be rushed.
Coveney told the BBC that the EU shall approach this on the basis of getting the best possible deal- one that is fair and balanced to ensure UK and EU’s interaction in a friendly manner in the future. However, the European Union will not be rushed into this decision.
