MELBOURNE- On Saturday, as part of day three of the Boxing Day test, New Zealand bowled out for 148 as a response to Australia’s 467 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The visitors were dismissed short of 120 runs avoiding the follow-on, however, Tim Paine captained his Australian team in to bat again.
Pat Cummins led Australian bowling with his paceman action with innings figures of 5-28.
New Zealand’s top scorer was opener Tom Latham with 50 runs.
